DMAAR Foundation: Donation Recipients

On Friday, December 6th, the DMAAR Foundation presented 15 local Des Moines charities each with a $5,000 donation. These checks were given by DMAAR Foundation President, John McRoberts and Linda Westergaard, Realtor® and Des Moines City Council Member.

 The DMAAR Foundation selects charities that align with their mission of giving back and supporting housing needs. The $75,000 donation was split evenly between these charities and causes:

Central Iowa Shelter

Children and Families of IA

House of Mercy

Hope Ministries

Hawthorne New Directions

Orchard Place

Red Cross

Youth Homes of Mid America

Homes of Oakridge

Beacon of Life

YESS Emergency Shelter

Dorothy's House

Iowa Homeless Youth Center
